PROJECT: MEDIVANCE AQUACUT
Complete redesign
and cost reduction
ABOUT
The Velopex Aquacut Quattro is the fourth generation fluid abrasion device manufactured by UK company Medivance Instruments ltd. under the Velopex brand and it replaces a costly metal fabrication.
The Aquacut is used in the dental industry as a direct alternative to mechanical based polishers. The Aquacut cuts and polishes using a jet of powder shrouded by a curtain of liquid and has no electrical or electronic components. This abrasion technology does not transfer any mechanical shock to the tooth, so there is no requirement for anaesthetic.
